A Student seeking admission into the college should apply through online mode only in this academic year.For admission students must visit our website www.barbhagcollege.co.in. All admission are free as per Govt. of Assam order.Prospectus is available in the college website for download.
Admission into the college is strictly in order of merit and is governed by college admission rules.
There is provision for reservation of seats for students belonging to SC/ST(P)/ST(H)/ OBC and physically handicapped categories as per the Goverment rules. A few seats will be available on the basis of remarkable achievement in the fields of music, sports and other extra-curricular activities.
The selection of students seeking major in different subjects will be made on the day of interview on the basis of merit. A student's admission into the college is provisional and subject to the final approval of G.U/ A.H.S.E.C.
The medium of instruction is both English and Assamese.
As per AHSEC and GU rules 75% attendance in classes is compulsory required for a student. In case of less than necessary attendance, a student is liable to be declared non collegiate/discollegiate.
